"Bringing beauty and comfort
into the lives of my clients is what decorating has always meant to me", says Rhonda Kifer, a seasoned professional who
has been promoting good design for nearly thirty years. She adds, "My job is to help my clients combine the elements
of design to produce an atmosphere that makes them feel good about the space they live in or work in every day". Known
for changing the ordinary into timeless interiors for her clients, Rhonda believes every detail inside and out is important
to the success of the design; while harmonizing the client's vision with architectural purpose. Rhonda's many satisfied clients have enjoyed the creativity, organization and common sense
approach brought to each project, no matter the size or the budget.
Her work includes traditional style homes and commercial
spaces that have been written about or featured in publications such as The Almanac, Washington Observer-Reporter, Pittsburgh
Post Gazette, The Peters Township Source, The South Fayette Source and The Pittsburgh Tribune Review. Rhonda also works with homeowners who just need a redesign, staging assessment, or some quick-fix
ideas and color advice. After accepting an invitation in 2001 to develop
a series of design classes for a local college, Rhonda has been hooked on education and the process of facilitating those
interested in learning about professional interior decorating. She has combined her knowledge, experience and coaching
skills to offer quality training and confidence building through her decorating workshops to adult learners eager to meet
the challenge. Rhonda's
philosophy: "Interior decorating is about more than acquiring furnishings and collecting things - it's about creating
a home that's safe and pleasing to the senses; where your spirit is nurtured and hospitality is extended to others".

Testimonial: "I have worked with Rhonda Kifer for nearly two years and I welcome the opportunity to comment on her work as well
as her character. She helped me from the conception of the home we built and moved into in August. She was quite
wonderful in blending my ideas into a workable decor for our contemporary home. My initial contact with Rhonda Kifer
was on a limited basis. She had come highly recommended by a friend, but I had not worked with an interior designer.
As we worked together, I learned that she could be helpful in every area from merely advising to actually finding and purchasing.
I find her pricing reasonable and I know I am going to be happy with the things we decide on. I have placed my home
decor totally in her hands! I also want to say a few words about how she conducts business. She is one of the
most professional people I have ever worked with. She never fails to return calls or collect the needed information.
What a delight if everyone ran their business like Rhonda! Over the period of our association I have come to regard
Rhonda not only as my guru of design, but as a friend as well". Rebecca L. Sillman - PA Back to Top

Events: September 16, 2007
- Macy's at the South Hills Village Mall, introduces Martha Stewart's newest tableware collection. On hand to demonstrate
interior decorating ideas and how to create a beautiful tablescape with this fabulous collection was interior designer, Rhonda
Kifer. September 23, 2005 - Rhonda
Kifer, along with other interior designers and students from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh had an inspiring day at the Ohio
Design Center. The event: "Coffee with Candice Olson" HGTV Host of Divine Design.
When Candice was asked why she felt "Divine Design" was such a success, her answer
was due to the reality of the design process she believes her viewers see when watching her show. She also said that
she works very hard and long hours at her own design firm... just like the rest of us!
