Rhonda Kifer is a wife, interior designer, instructor
and certified interior environment coach who has been transforming homes into beautiful living for over thirty years.
Known for creating interior spaces that are classic yet timeless,
Rhonda is skilled in listening and understanding the needs and desires of her clients. She advises and helps them
strategically combine the elements of design to produce an atmosphere that makes them feel good about the home they live in
everyday.
Rhonda's philosophy on decorating
is that it's more than acquiring furnishings and collecting things - it's about creating a home that's safe and pleasing to
the senses; where one's spirit is nurtured and hospitality is extended to others. She also believes our homes should have simplicity
and balance, void of excess clutter, to truly enjoy our surroundings to the fullest.
Rhonda completed her education in Interior Environment, Interior Design and
Specialized Technology at The Chicago School of Interior Design and Decoration, The New York School of Interior
Design CE and PSID. She also received her certification in Interior Environment Coaching through the DeGangi Group.
She is a member of the Interior Design Society, The Certified Interior Decorators International Inc., and Decorators Alliance
of North America.
Rhonda is the author of
Interiors In Season® decorating, and her work has been featured in publications such as The Almanac,
Washington Observer-Reporter, The Pittsburgh Post Gazette, The Peters Township Source, The South Fayette Source and The
Pittsburgh Tribune Review.
After accepting an invitation
to develop a series of design classes for a local college, Rhonda was hooked on education and the process of facilitating
those interested in learning about professional interior decorating. For more than a decade, she has taught many
programs through her own decorating workshops, for the Community College of Allegheny, and is an instructor and speaker for
the DeGangi Group.
